According to the results of the Seventh Season of the «Football for Friendship» project, AGT Communications Agency organizes internships for the first time for 12-year-old Young Journalists in print and online publications around the world. The idea of conducting internships in professional media for the participants of «Football for Friendship» (F4F) emerged during the final events of the Seventh Season of the program, which took place in Madrid from May 28 to June 2. Young journalists of the Football for Friendship International Children's Press Center from 28 countries worked together with professional journalists in four main areas: creating news about the project, preparing photo and video content, as well as practicing in the preparation and promotion of posts for social networks. All materials of the young participants were published in the Football for Friendship daily newspaper and on the program’s official YouTube channel. During the final events, the guys tried their hand at correspondent work, honed their interviewing skills.

At the end of the Seventh Season, noting the high level of training of Young Journalists and their desire to develop in the profession, the organizers decided to send the best, according to experts of the AGT communication agency, for internships in the Russian and international media.

For example, the young journalist from St. Petersburg, Rafael Zinoviev, will begin a two-month practice in July in the sports edition of the popular News.ru portal. Employees will entrust him with the daily preparation of sports news: the materials of the editorial staff will be teaching examples that reveal the subtleties of the craft. In connection with the start of the 2019/2020 football season, Raphael will be attracted to creating interviews with athletes and coaches, and preparing reports from the scene. Also, the Young Journalist will be introduced to the mechanism of the work of news feeds and social networks focused on sports topics. The participant of the Football for Friendship can apply this knowledge in August, at one of the games of the Russian Championship as a young reporter for the News.ru portal, which traditionally covers the Russian championship matches.

In addition, as a News.ru correspondent, Rafael will go on a press tour in Sochi, where, with the support of the Board of Trustees of the UEFA Children's Fund, an international social sports and sports project SUPERCUBE “Believe in Dream!” Organized by the RAF and the Fund for the Support of the Development of Physical Culture will be held , sports and health "UNITY". Also, F4F Young Journalist Lukas Calderon from Bolivia will try himself as a guest correspondent for the website of the weekly BBC Match of the Day magazine, where he will be able to demonstrate his skills to thousands of young football fans at MOTDmag.com.

“It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to do an internship in a serious business publication, to feel completely immersed in the professional environment of adult sports journalism. This is an excellent chance to learn a profession from the inside, to communicate with professionals, to understand whether the sports direction is suitable for me, whether I am ready to continue their work. On an internship, I want to master the maximum useful skills - from creating news, photo and video content, to serious reports from the scene. I am sure that the experience that I will receive this summer will be very useful to me for further professional development - and for this I am eternally grateful to the organizers who made my dream come true, ”said F4F Young Journalist Rafael Zinoviev (Russia).

“I want to thank the organizers for the chance to become a guest correspondent for one of the best, in my opinion, sports news portals, because the BBC is the largest media outlet. I hope that I can communicate with experienced journalists and find out what qualities I need to develop in myself in order to become a successful international journalist in the future. If next year I will again take part in Football for Friendship, I will definitely share my experience with guys from different countries,” said F4F Young Journalist Lucas Calderon (Bolivia).
