AGT and Worldskills Russia project became the finalist of the international PROBA award.

The multimedia press center of the VI National Championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia), organized by AGT in Sakhalin, was shortlisted for the prestigious PROBA international communications award. The project competed in the MEDIA RELATIONS nomination.

WorldSkills National Finals Press Center is a large organizational and communication project aimed at the comprehensive coverage of the WorldSkills national championship. It provides for the work of dozens of journalists and opinion leaders from different regions of the country.

In addition to solving a set of standard technical and information tasks during the implementation of the project, the agency had to overcome a number of challenges due to the specifics of this event. Among them: remoteness, technological challenges, the massive nature of the event, the need to overcome the negative of a number of local communities against an expensive event, the need to formulate new growth points in the coverage strategy (changing the training system, the technological heritage of the championships in the Russian regions, contribution to the development of the personnel potential of the regions, job security).

AGT Communications Agency provides the work of press centers, as well as organizes press blog tours for national and world championships WorldSkills for three years. During this time, the agency’s portfolio was replenished with the following projects:

• World Championship WorldSkills in Abu Dhabi (October 2017).

• National WorldSkills Russia Championship on Sakhalin (August 2018).

• National WorldSkills Russia Championship in Kazan (May 2019).

• World Championship WorldSkills in Kazan (May 2019).

• WorldSkills Russia industry championships such as Hi-Tech, Wise Skills, etc.

About WorldSkills

WorldSkills is a global movement aimed at developing and promoting working professions. The main event is the world championship, comparable in scale to the Olympic Games. The championship brings together thousands of participants in dozens of disciplines, tens of thousands of experts, guests, as well as journalists.

World Championships are preceded by national competitions. One of them was the event on Sakhalin in August 2018.

PROBA Awards - International Communications Competition

Established in 2000, it aims to develop professional communications, search for the best among specialists in the industry, and present outstanding communication projects at the international level.

Along with the Cannes Lions, the Global SABER Awards, the Gold Quill Awards, is included in the National rating of communication companies with the highest gradation (class “A”).

The award ceremony of the contest is included in the official program of the Baltic Weekend international communication forum and will be held on September 26, 2019 in St. Petersburg.
