11 May 2011

The Investment Management Club (IMC) promo campaign kicked off on May 12, 2011 with a roundtable meeting at a conference hall of the Nizhegorodskaya Pravda daily. IMC organizers are AGT-Povolzhie and the Nizhegorodskaya Pravda publishing house.

The campaign will essentially consist of a series of roundtable meetings, aimed at stimulating regional investment projects and raising awareness of those concerned with regional and corporate development on the federal and international levels.

The forums will bring together representatives of largest manufacturers, federal, regional and municipal authorities, state-controlled corporations, public and trade associations, domestic and foreign investment companies and development vehicles, and mass media.

The first meeting of the Investment Management Club will be devoted to the investment projects in the Vyksa district of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The pool of participating experts and celebrities to attend the forum includes deputy Gov and Deputy Prime Minister of the region Dmitry Svatkovsky, Investment Policy Minister Natalia Kazachkova, Assistant Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in the Volga Federal District Alexander Shkolnik, Deputy Plenipotentiary in the Volga Federal District Alexei Kubring, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod’s Trade and Industry Chamber Dmitry Krasnov, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod’s Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Valery Tsybanev, representatives of local administrations, potential investors and press.

The discussion will focus around the challenges facing the regional development, and offering regional leaders a chance to represent their regions in a manner to attract potential investors, as well as to voice their plans for development. Investors in their turn will enjoy looking at the potential area of investment in detail to assess its risks and opportunities.

The meetings will include memorandums of understanding, methodical recommendations and analytical conclusions as a result. But the most important is that every region will find its investor.
